MIDLOTHIAN, VA, June 7, 2022 – Community Bankers’ Bank (CBB) is pleased to announce the election of Mr. Kyle R. Chavis and Mr. Thomas Bouchette to the Board of Directors. Mr. Chavis currently serves as Chief Executive Officer of Lumbee Guaranty Bank, based in Pembroke, North Carolina. Mr. Bouchette serves as President and Chief Operating Officer of The Citizens Bank in Florence, South Carolina.
Mr. Joe A. Shearin, an Executive Consultant for Virginia-based Primis Bank, has been elected Chairman of the Board. Mr. T. Clay Davis was elected Vice Chairman of the Board. Mr. Davis is President and Chief Financial Officer of Select Bank, based in Forest, Virginia.
